There is much disagreement as to whether there will be people who survive the Tribulation or not; such a question is easily explained by examining it in the Light of the scriptures.
The Tribulation precedes Armageddon, therefore for the Battle of Armageddon to happen there must be people on the earth to fight in it. Armageddon is World War Three when the seven vials of God’s wrath are poured out to cleanse the earth for the Millennium.
The next question that will be raised on the lips of many is as to whether there will be people who survive Armageddon since a popular mind-set is that Armageddon is a complete annihilation of the earth. The scriptures again furnish us with a definite answer concerning this.
Zechariah 14: 6: And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
The people remaining of the nations that fought against Jerusalem at Armageddon will live on into the Millennium and will repopulate the earth whilst Christ and His Bride rule over these peoples with a rod of iron (Revelation 19: 15). Ezekiel 39: 8 - 16 then explains how that Jews and Gentiles will clean the land of Israel and burn the weaponry, such a burning will happen over the space of seven years, meaning that the land will be being cleaned-up during the first years of the Millennium.
There are many other scriptures scattered throughout the Bible that provide extra detail and confirmation that there will be people who survive the horrors of the wrath of God and who will live on into the Millennium to repopulate the earth.
